Free Food, Top Artistes & Life-Changing Tools – ONC’s Bulambuli Empowerment Drive Set To Unlock Eastern Uganda!

By Our Reporter

Preparations are in full swing for the highly anticipated Bulambuli Empowerment Outreach, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Sunday, July 6th, 2025, at Simu Primary School grounds. The life-changing initiative is spearheaded by the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Kyambogo, under the dynamic leadership of Senior Presidential Advisor and ONC Manager, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye.

This massive outreach aims to equip the Bazzukulu with startup capital tools to boost household incomes and facilitate their transition into the money economy — a direct contribution to President Yoweri Museveni’s vision of inclusive wealth creation and economic transformation.

Earlier today, the ONC advance team, led by Deputy Head of Mobilization Mr. Kalema George William, alongside ONC coordinators for the Bugisu Subregion, conducted a series of engagements with key stakeholders. These included top NRM leaders, group leaders, Boda Boda stage heads, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC), heads of security, and the local leadership, all while carrying out massive grassroots mobilization ahead of the grand event.

The team also inspected logistics, welfare arrangements, and venue readiness — ensuring every detail is in place for a smooth and impactful empowerment rollout.

According to Mr. Kalema, the excitement on the ground is “overwhelming,” with locals eagerly looking forward to receiving Hajjat Namyalo’s life-transforming support. The outreach targets youth, women, ghetto dwellers, and other vulnerable community members ready to embrace entrepreneurship and skill-based livelihoods.

Hajjat Namyalo, fondly known as the Chief Muzzukulu, is expected to preside over the event as Chief Guest, where she will hand over a wide range of capital tools — including hair salon equipment, welding machines, sewing machines, brick-making machines, car washers, and agricultural inputs. These tools form part of the ONC’s broader mission to offer practical solutions to poverty and promote grassroots self-reliance.

The Bulambuli outreach follows a string of successful empowerment drives conducted across the country, which have seen thousands of Ugandans lifted from poverty through the ONC’s robust model.

Speaking ahead of the event, Hajjat Namyalo emphasized that the initiative is not just about economic support but also about instilling values of responsibility, hard work, and patriotism — especially as Uganda prepares for the 2026 general elections.

“This support is not a political handout — it is an investment in your future,” Hajjat Namyalo has consistently reminded beneficiaries, urging them to protect the tools from misuse or resale and to use them to better their lives and communities.

The day will not only be about empowerment. Attendees will also be treated to a vibrant entertainment lineup featuring top Ugandan musicians such as Gravity Omutujju, Lil Pazo Lunabe, and several local artistes. According to the ONC welfare team, breakfast and lunch will be served by 10:00 a.m., ensuring all guests are well catered for.

Reaffirming ONC’s commitment to inclusive development, Mr. Kalema George noted:

“This outreach is about real impact. It’s about moving beyond promises and delivering real tools that change lives. The Bazzukulu of Bulambuli are going to witness the ONC difference.”

The ONC has consistently cautioned the youth against falling prey to political opportunists and manipulators who aim to derail national development efforts. As Hajjat Namyalo’s empowerment train heads to Bulambuli, all eyes are on Simu Primary School, where hope, opportunity, and transformation are set to take center stage.
