RIP: She Died A Painful Death At The Hands Of Her Lover, See What He Did To Her!

By Frank Kamuntu

South African Police Service (SAPS) members have arrested a 35-year-old male suspect on a charge of murder after he allegedly assaulted and killed 34-year-old Mabore Raboshakga. Mabore was found dead in her home on July 13, 2023, with multiple stab wounds to her body.

According to a news report by Women for Change, Mabore had an altercation with her boyfriend, 35-year-old Thabang Molefe, earlier that day. The altercation escalated into a physical fight, and Molefe allegedly stabbed Mabore multiple times before fleeing the scene.

SAPS members responded to the scene and launched an investigation. They were able to identify Molefe as a suspect and tracked him down to a nearby bar. Molefe was arrested without incident and is currently being detained in jail. The circumstances leading up to the altercation between Mabore and Molefe are still being investigated. However, it is believed that the altercation was triggered by a domestic dispute.

Mabore’s death has been met with widespread condemnation. Women for Change has called for justice for Mabore and for an end to gender-based violence in South Africa.

Gender-based violence (GBV) is a serious problem in South Africa. It is estimated that 1 in 3 women in South Africa will experience some form of GBV in their lifetime. This includes physical, sexual, emotional, and economic abuse.
