”You Can’t Infect Me With HIV & Go On To Trade Your B3ans”- Man Chops Wife Into Pieces After Catching Her In ‘Kwepicha’

By Frank Kamuntu

The territorial Police in KMP South and Katwe Division, is actively guarding a one Luutu Patrick aged 35, of Kizungu zone, Luwafu Parish, Makindye Division, at Kiruddu hospital, for attempting to commit suicide, after cutting his woman friend the neck with a sharp metallic object, killing her instantly, in their one roomed rented house, at Kizungu zone.

The suspect allegedly got his lover with another man in her room on the 14.07.2023, at around 1:00pm. He was not convinced by the explanation of his lover, that the man found in the house was her brother. He further claimed that his fiancé had infected him with HIV/AIDS. As a result, he locked the door and attacked his lover, with a sharp metal, and stabbed her at the neck, left jaw and chest. The victim bled and died at the scene. The suspect turned the sharp metal and stabbed himself. He was however, rescued and rushed to Mulago hospital where he is admitted, under Police guard.

The above has been confirmed by the Uganda Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga who says, ”We continue to strongly condemn such sexually motivated crimes. The motivation to murder the wife, was uncalled for, as there no proof on the timing of the alleged infection and any further linkage to the victim.”

Enanga adds,”As a Country, we are a lead model in the fight and awareness of HIV/AIDS, its safeguards and on a positive living. When someone gets infected, they should know that HIV is not a death sentence or a ticket. One can continue living positively and stay health for a life time. Such incidents therefore, call for more better counseling services on HIV/AIDS in the Community.”
