By Frank Kamuntu

The jubilant locals in Luweero district have endorsed President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for 2026 presidential battle and asked the entire country to support him, saying this is the only leader who has a bright future for the Pearl.

The endorsement was made during the celebration of Youth Day held at Kasaala playgrounds presided over by the head of Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye who informed the youths that their ‘Jajja’ has never forgotten them and will continue to support them in various ways in abid to uplift their well-being.

At the same celebrations, the bazzukulu endorsed ”JajjaKuBallot2026” theme, initiated by ONC to persuade Museveni to stand again in 2026 and beyond.

Delivering her speech, Hajjat Namyalo who is on a mission of wealth creation and self-empowerment, told the youths, ”ONC office doesn’t give cash but items and equipment that can help you and the entire population to improve their livelihoods.”

It’s from the above background that Namyalo handed to the masses an assortment of items including, sawing machines, popcorn machines, hair driers, hair cutting machines, hoes, seeds, fertilizers, sprayers, slashers, grinding machines among others cautioning them that they should use them to economically empower themselves.

”I call upon all of you who have received these tools to utilize them to get something in terms of finances, your Jajja wants to see all of you economically stable,” Namyalo preached before she turned guns to land grabbers who chase people away from their lands. She cautioned them to stop the vice, or else be ready to face the rough edge of the law.

”Get prepared to fight land grabbers (thugs), His excellency has never sent anyone to come and chase you away from your land, that’s a typical lie. Please get prepared and alert your neighbours, police and security for help and work together to fight land grabbers,” Namyalo said.

Meanwhile, Namyalo revealed that her office has a toll-free number which she gave out to the masses to call and report those misusing government offices, and land grabbers and where services are not delivered to those in need.

-Mission; Kick Out Poverty-

This is not the first time Namyalo through ONC is supporting the wanainchi to kick poverty out of their homes.

Last month she donated to the NRM mobilizers goodies worth millions, among them including tailoring machines, farming equipment like sprayers, and herbicides. Others were; maize and bean seeds, salon machines, popcorn machines, among others.

In April this year, she donated over 8,000 chicks and hybrid goats to farmers in Luweero District in what she called a poverty alleviation initiative, a special presidential arrangement to fight poverty in various parts of the country.

In June, Namyalo donated to bazzukulu sawing machines, hair dryers, hair cut machines, and other salon accessories to start up income-generating ventures.
