LC1 Elections: ONC Boss Namyalo Launches Village To Village Mobilization, Goes Bare Knuckles Against Land Grabbers

By Frank Kamuntu

The head of Office of the National Chairman (ONC-Kyambogo) Hajjat Hadijja Namyalo has today officially launched the village-to-village mobilization campaigns for NRM candidates who will be contesting for the Administrative Units (LC 1 & 2) and Women Councils and Committees Elections, 2023.

Addressing a mammoth of NRM diehards from all circles of the city; ghetto, women groups, youth groups and tax operators among others, Namyalo said this is the right time for all the bazzukulu to wake up and warm up to participate in the above-mentioned elections and spread the gospel of Parish Development Model (PDM) among other government programs aiming to uplift the wellbeing of Ugandans.

“This is the right time to wake up and get ready for these elections, NRM Electoral Commission Chairperson Tanga Odoi is soon unveiling the roadmap for the party primaries. Let’s get ready to take up these leadership positions and use them to transform Museveni’s bazzukulu economically and socially,” Namyalo told a large crowd of bazzukulu who were gathered at ONC offices in Kyambogo.

At this very point, Namyalo ran furious against land grabbers, whom she said connive with LC1 chairpersons to cause sleepless nights to innocent Ugandans.
The no-nonsense Namyalo who seems to be fearing only her boss [Museveni], warned that she is more than ready to battle any war related to land-grabbing for the betterment of Museveni’s bazzukulu.

”Some ruthless mafias come with military capes, others use guns to threaten our people telling them that they come from State House, they use this kind of language to grab people’s land. I want to tell them now, that Namyalo is unshakable and nothing will stop me from battling such mafias, I hear some have guns, let them be ready to shoot me, but I won’t tolerate that nonsense causing hatred to our good government,” vowed Namyalo.
The chief muzzukulu further had no sweet words for those using President Museveni’s name to grab people’s land, She warned, ”President Museveni never sends anyone to evict people from their land, this has chopped NRM’s support in the Buganda region, in the ghettos, Busoga, and several parts of the country, we as bazzukulu who still want Museveni to stay ”on the ballot pakalast” can’t allow these acts.”

The furious chief muzzukulu also spit venom against city socialite Frank Gashumba who was earlier this week defeated in a case he lodged against ONC claiming that he owns the copyright of ‘TovaKuMain2026’ slogan.

Namyalo said that Gashumba was paid over Ugx500m by ONC office for all the activities he did for the office and therefore it was so shameful for him to turn against the same office that at a certain point fed him.

“Am happy we defeated Gashumba and his group when they took us to URSB, my prayer now is that they go ahead and appeal, I feel so ready to drain their poor pockets and all the money I will collect from them, I will bring it to you the loyal bazzukulu, you use it to start up businesses,” said Namyalo.
