Minister Sam Mayanja Cited In Mbale City Church Land Saga

By Our Reporter

In a shocking revelation, it has come to light that the Honorable State Minister in charge of lands in Uganda, Hon. Sam Mayanja, has allegedly issued an illegal land allocation to a certain Zubair Galiwango without the necessary approval of the Lands Commission. This information seeks to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this unauthorized allocation and the potential implications it may have for Uganda’s land management and governance.

Land is a valuable and finite resource in Uganda, and its management and allocation are highly regulated to prevent fraud and corruption. The Lands Commission plays a pivotal role in overseeing the allocation of land and ensuring that the process is fair and transparent. Any allocation made without their involvement raises serious questions about the legality and integrity of the transaction.

Sources allege that they have landed on uncovered documents and testimonies suggesting that Hon. Sam Mayanja ordered the allocation of land to Zubair Galiwango without consulting the Lands Commission or any other relevant protocols.

”This week on Thursday he organized a secret meeting with Mbale City land mafias on the same issue though the land is rightfully allocated to a Church,” says sources.

This alarming revelation raises concerns about the legality of the transaction and whether due process was followed.

The unauthorized land allocation raises several critical questions and potential implications as summarized below;

1. Bypassing Due Process:

If the Lands Commission was not involved, it may indicate a breach of the established legal procedures for land allocation.

2. Transparency and Accountability: The allocation of land without proper oversight undermines transparency and accountability in Uganda’s land management.

3. Potential Corruption: Allegations of corruption and favoritism may arise if the allocation was made without the Lands Commission’s involvement.

Given the seriousness of these allegations, there is a growing call for a thorough investigation into the matter to ascertain the facts and ensure accountability. It is essential to determine whether the allocation was made in violation of the law and whether there was any impropriety involved.

The unauthorized allocation of land in Uganda’s Ministry of Lands, allegedly orchestrated by Hon. Sam Mayanja, has raised significant concerns about the legality and transparency of the transaction. It is imperative that a thorough investigation is conducted to determine the facts and uphold the principles of accountability and fairness in land management.

This case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of preserving the integrity of land allocation processes to protect the rights and interests of Ugandan citizens.
