Horror: Female University Student Found Dead Inside Boyfriend’s Rental House, Hands Tied

Police have launched an investigation after a female student’s body was found inside her boyfriend’s house in Katoloni Estate within Machakos Township in Kenya.

Okanda said the deceased was specialising in a Bachelor of Education at Machakos University before her untimely death.

“This morning, we received a report that there was a body belonging to a Machakos University student which was lying inside a house at Diaspora rentals,” Okanda said.

Swift Daily News has learned that the deceased had blood oozing from her ears and nose with her hands tied from behind using shoelaces.

The police have arrested two people, the man believed to be Moraa’s boyfriend and his friend, to assist with the investigations.

“We have two suspects in custody to help in the investigations. The body was moved to Machakos Level 5 Hospital mortuary awaiting an autopsy to reveal age, whether she sustained other injuries and cause of death,” the police boss said.

Police suspect the female student was killed on the night of Monday, January 8.

In other sad news, a first-year student from the Kisii Polytechnic College was allegedly killed by her boyfriend, who had travelled from Isebania to Kisii to visit her.

Lucy Boke was allegedly stabbed to death by her estranged boyfriend on the evening of Thursday, November 9, after a heated quarrel.

While confirming the incident, a police officer in Kisii said they were called after a mob descended on the suspect with kicks and blows for killing the young woman.

He allegedly stabbed her in the neck, leading to her instantaneous death.

“When we arrived, we found that the lady had been killed by the boyfriend; it is also emerging that the man is an ex-boyfriend. We found the lady’s body on the floor.

“The suspect had gone to visit the lady for reasons we do not know, and they started quarrelling,” a police officer said.
