In a passionate and forward-looking manifesto, Hon. Kyanika Rehema has officially declared her candidacy for the position of National Chairperson of the NRM Women’s League, unveiling a bold vision to empower women and strengthen Uganda’s socio-political fabric from the grassroots up.
Under the theme “Empowering Women, Strengthening the Nation”, Rehema’s campaign is rooted in values of patriotism, pan-Africanism, democracy, and socio-economic transformation — principles she believes define the spirit of the National Resistance Movement (NRM).
“This is a moment to rewrite the story of women’s leadership,” Rehema said. “I offer myself with humility and a clear vision to uplift the lives of women across our great country.”

Her campaign is anchored in the African philosophy of Ubuntu, expressed in her slogan: “I am because you are – Together we can!”
“This is more than a slogan,” Rehema explains. “It’s a call to unity, service, and shared success. I urge every woman and comrade in the NRM to walk with me as we write a new chapter for the Women’s League.”
