SAD! Prof Muganga Announces Passing Of His Beloved Mother | The Woman Who Shaped His Life & Legacy

The Victoria University community and the wider education fraternity are united in mourning with Prof. Lawrence Muganga, Vice Chancellor of Victoria University, following the passing of his beloved mother.

In a deeply moving message shared this morning with friends and colleagues, Prof. Muganga described his mother as his hero, the pillar of his life, and the source of his strength and inspiration. Her passing marks not only the loss of a parent, but the departure of a woman whose love, sacrifice, and guidance helped shape one of Uganda’s most influential education reformers.

For Prof. Muganga, his mother was more than family, she was the quiet force behind his journey. From humble beginnings, she instilled in him values of resilience, faith, hard work, and compassion.
