Victoria University Uganda on Tuesday celebrated its 9th Graduation Ceremony at world-class, Speke Resort Convention Centre in Munyonyo, under the theme “Shaping the Future: Innovation, Digitality, and Employability.” Thousands of graduates received degrees, diplomas, and certificates, highlighting the university’s commitment to producing skilled, innovative, and job-ready professionals.
The ceremony was graced by His Majesty William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV, the Kyabazinga of Busoga, and Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, Founder and Chairman of Victoria University’s Board. In a heartfelt moment, Dr. Ruparelia announced 100 full scholarships in memory of his late son, Rajiv Ruparelia, to support top graduates pursuing Master’s degrees, underscoring his dedication to education and youth empowerment.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Lawrence Muganga encouraged graduates to embrace AI, innovation, and lifelong learning while celebrating the university’s hands-on, technology-driven approach to education. The event was filled with joy and memorable moments, reflecting Victoria University’s growing legacy of excellence & innovation in Uganda’s higher education landscape.
