VIDEO: Okello 'Nearly Eaten Alive' By Fellow Prisoners, Security Swiftly Transfers Him To Separate Cell

By Swift Reporter

Tension erupted at court holding cells after fellow inmates threatened to attack murder suspect Christopher Okello, forcing security officers to swiftly intervene and move him to a separate cell.

The incident occurred shortly after court proceedings, as prison and police officers attempted to return suspects to holding cells before their transfer back to Luzira Prison on remand. The situation escalated when inmates already inside the cell recognized Okello as he was being escorted in.

The group began shouting threats and demanding that he be brought inside, expressing anger over the nature of the charges against him. The reaction created immediate concern among security personnel, who feared for the suspect’s safety.

Officers quickly altered their plan, halting the transfer and instead escorting Okello to an empty cell, where he was held alone to prevent any chaos.

During this moment, Okello could be seen visibly shaking and was hesitant as he approached the cell area before being redirected by authorities.
