House of Prayer Ministries International lead pastor Aloysius Bugingo and his wife, Susan Makula, have welcomed a baby girl, adding a new chapter to their much-discussed love story.

The couple has named their daughter Bugingo Grace Beretta, according to congratulatory messages shared by their friends and associates on social media.

News of the baby’s arrival was publicly shared by former East African Legislative Assembly MP Hon. Mukasa Fred Mbidde, who congratulated Pastor Bugingo and his wife on the safe arrival of their daughter.

“Heartfelt congratulations to my brother, Pastor and Mrs. Susan Bujingo, on the safe arrival of the precious daughter, Bujingo Grace Beretta,” Mbidde wrote, describing the birth as a joyful blessing to the family.

Media personality Frank Gashumba also joined the celebrations, congratulating the couple in a social media post accompanied by a photograph of Bugingo and Susan.

The arrival of their daughter marks another significant milestone for Bugingo and Susan, whose relationship has attracted considerable public attention over the years.

Bugingo previously parted ways with his first wife, Teddy Naluswa, before finding love with Susan Makula. Despite public criticism and controversy surrounding their relationship, the two remained together and later formalised their union in a private traditional ceremony in December 2021.
