Swift Jobs: Goldstar Insurance Expands Workforce, Hiring Internal Loss Analysts & Claims Officers

By Frank Kamuntu

Goldstar Insurance Company Limited has announced new employment opportunities as part of its continued growth and commitment to strengthening service delivery in Uganda’s insurance sector.

In notices released this week, the company confirmed it is hiring for two key positions: Internal Loss Analyst and Claims Officer, signaling increased operational capacity and renewed investment in skilled professionals.

According to the company, the recruitment drive is aimed at enhancing claims management, improving investigative processes, and ensuring efficient service to policyholders across engineering, motor, property, and liability insurance portfolios.

Strengthening Claims Integrity

The Internal Loss Analyst role is designed for results-driven professionals with strong investigative skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently investigating and analyzing motor, engineering, and property claims, conducting field inspections, validating loss documentation, preparing detailed reports, and identifying fraudulent or exaggerated claims.

Goldstar says the position is critical in safeguarding company resources while maintaining fairness and integrity in claims settlement. Applicants are required to hold a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field and have at least two years of relevant experience. Professional qualifications such as Dip CILA or Dip ITC will be considered an added advantage.

Enhancing Customer Service Delivery

The company is also seeking a Claims Officer to manage a diverse portfolio of claims, including engineering, property, liability, marine, and other miscellaneous claims. The role involves assessing policy coverage, coordinating loss investigations, managing recoveries, handling reinsurance notifications, and maintaining accurate claim records.

Goldstar noted that the position calls for professionals with strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills, as well as a high level of integrity. A Bachelor’s degree in insurance, actuarial science, risk management, law, business administration, engineering, or a related field is required, alongside at least two years’ experience in general insurance claims.

Industry observers say the recruitment reflects Goldstar Insurance’s steady growth and its broader contribution to job creation in Uganda’s financial services sector.

Interested candidates have been invited to submit their applications and CVs via goldstar@goldstarinsurance.com. The company emphasized that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

The application deadline for both positions is February 13, 2026.

Goldstar Insurance Company Limited continues to position itself as a leading player in Uganda’s insurance industry, driven by professionalism, innovation, and a commitment to reliable service delivery.
